Carrie Taylor, age 54, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026. She was born on March 30, 1972, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Allen Abbott; her mother, Hoberta Freeman and her sister, Amy Abbott.
She is survived by her loving son, Austin Abbott, and daughter-in-law, Whitney Diaz; her daughter, Carmen Murphy; her stepfather, Tony Freeman; and her cherished grandchildren, Mason Abbott, Avory Abbott, and Mia Abbott. She also leaves behind many other loved ones and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Anyone who knew Carrie knew how much she loved music. If she couldn’t find the right words, she always had a song that could say it for her. Her love for music was a part of who she was, and it’s something that will continue to remind her family and friends of her every day. May she always be remembered in the lyrics of her favorite songs.
A private service will be held at a later time.
