Carolyn Sue Crosslin Irons, 80, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and an excellent painter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Irons, infant daughter, Alicia Ann; parents, Elizabeth Heard and Joe Crosslin; and mother-in-law, Berta Irons.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Bailey (Danny); grandchildren, Ryan Bailey (Britney) and Casey Borden, (Drew); great-grandchildren, Blayne, Brantley, Parker, and Dawson Bailey, Taelyn and Tessa Borden; friend, Clara Johnston; and nieces and nephews.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family expresses special thanks to North Alabama Hospice of the Shoals and Caitlin Alexander.
