Mrs. Carolyn Strang passed away on November 20, 2021. She was born in Beaumont, TX to the late Jack T. Johnston and Eva Lambright Johnston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Strang, Jr.

Mrs. Strang is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Strang Vernier and husband Greg of Murfreesboro, TN, and son, William Kurt Strang of Parker, CO; granddaughters, Alexis Vernier and Jordan Strang; grandsons, Forest and Carson Strang; great-grandson, Hudson Vernier; sister, June Morton; brother, Jack T. Johnston, Jr.; nephew, Steve Gore and wife Renee; and niece Jill Johnston Webb and husband Scot.

Mrs. Strang was a retired teacher from Homer Pittard Campus School. She was a ruling elder and member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed travelling and playing bridge with her friends. She will be remembered for the light she brought to this world as a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to the many lives she touched.

Interment services will be held at First Presbyterial Church.

The family would like to thank Alive Hospice for the wonderful care that was provided to Mrs. Strang.
