Funeral service for Carolyn Sue Norman McNutt age 68 of Hartselle will be Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Snowden officiating with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
Carolyn, who was born on June 9, 1945 in the Talucah Community of Morgan County to Cecil Oscar Norman and Lucy Mildred Henderson Norman, died on Friday, January 24, 2014 at her home. She was a member of the Talucah Presbyterian Church, enjoyed feeding the children and made regular donations in support of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. She was also a big supporter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Homeless shelters in Decatur. She was loved and adored by her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years; Floyd Ray McNutt, 2 daughters; Paula McNutt Owens (John) of Hartselle and Windy McNutt of Decatur, 3 sisters; Bonnie Dunaway (Gilbert) of Valhermoso Springs, Debbie White (Bobby) of Danville and Andrea Cantrell (Steve) of Lacey’s Spring, 6 grandchildren; Jacob Hardin, Logan Hardin, Hillary Owens, Heather Owens, Haley Owens and Jake Cantrell.
Carlos Bunnell, Tim Taylor, Doug Bowling, Phillip Gurley, Mike Dunaway and Robert Dunaway will serve as pallbearers.
