  Carolyn Moore Harris of Selmer, TNCarolyn Moore Harris was born December 4, 1940 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late James Orlan and Thelda Faye Hopkins Moore.

She was united in marriage to L. R. (Dickie) Harris on May 25, 1974.

Carolyn grew up in the Needmore Community of McNairy County and attended school at Pleasant Site. She formerly worked as a waitress in the food service industry and was a loving homemaker for her family. Quilting, watching The Price Is Right, traveling to Branson, the mountains, or the beach and eating out were some of her special interests, but her favorite activities were spending time with her grandbabies and taking care of people. Carolyn was a member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church and also attended Landmark Pentecostal Church with her husband Dickie.

Carolyn departed this life on June 13, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 6 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, L. R. (Dickie) Harris of Selmer, TN; three sons: Randall Lynn (Randy) Kiser and wife Nikki of Adamsville, TN, Sammy Kiser and wife Sherry of West Shiloh, TN, and Tony Harris and wife Le Ann of Corinth, MS; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous very special nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Zephia Donahoe, and a brother, Jimmy Moore.
