Carolyn Mobley, age 72 of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1952 to Lonnie Lee Tucker Sr. and Annabell Guthrie. Carolyn was passionate about quilting, embroidering, canning, and cooking. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family. Family will receive friends January 14, 2025 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025. Brother Ronnie Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at Sardis No. 1 Cemetery in Lynn, Alabama. Carolyn is survived by her sons Lonnie (Juanita) Mobley, Sammie (Cindy) Mobley, Daniel (Chelsea) Mobley, and Karl Mobley; grandchildren, Tiffany, Meagan, Jeffrey, Haleigh, Skylar, Farriah, Ashton, and CJ; great-grandchildren, Haylie, Hannah, Eli, Sophia, Kase, Kenzleigh, and Drennon; sisters, Susie (Johnny) Ergle, Connie (Mack) Robins; and brother, Lee Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Lee Tucker Sr. and Annabell Guthrie; husband, Eirvin Mobley; son, Pal Mobley; granddaughter, Fallon Mobley; and brothers, Grady and Charlie Tucker.
