Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Marie Connell Cole, age 79, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cole was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Trenton, TN, a retired seamstress, and she loved to fish, spend time outdoors, and to spend time with her grand babies.
Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Beatrice Connell; and a brother, Charles “Bub” Connell.
Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband, Gerald Cole; two children, Gerard Cole (Cheryl), and Page Cole (Jimmy); two granddaughters, Haleigh Cole Milam (Will), and Catherine Cole Greer (Drew); four great grandchildren, Mary Milam, Colt Milam, Kate Milam, and Lyla Greer; and two sisters, Dona B. Mackin (R. L.), and Iris Jane Elliott (Rube).
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Trenton, TN.
