Carolyn M. Burns Reed age 72 of Dora, passed away Monday October 2, 2017. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved taking care of her family. She was employed by Cardiovascular Associates for 25 years. She was a constant supporter of the Jimmie Hale Mission. She was loved dearly by many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm at New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora. Rev. Jerry Irwin will officiate. Visitation is Thursday from 1:00- 2:30 pm at Sumiton Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Marvin W. Burns and Altie Burns.
Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Robinson (Jimmy) of Oxford and Jenifer Sides (Mike) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter, Will (Brittany), Reed, Wesley and Taylor; great grandchildren, Jase and Isaiah; brothers, Wayne Burns and Donnie Burns (Rita); sisters, Ann Brasfield, Pauline Dill and Frankie Norris; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
