Graveside Services for Mrs. Carolyn Jane Kennedy, age 81 of Southside, were held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Kenney passed away on October 8, 2020 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden. Born in Randolph County, she graduated from Lineville High School, Class of 1957, and lived in Lineville where she was owner operator of Braswell Cleaners several years and also worked many years at Higgins Manufacturing. Jane move to Southside almost 40 years ago and worked at Bobby Brooks Manufacturing until she retired.
She is survived by one daughter: Sheila K. Carwile (Mike) of Lineville; one son, Scott Kennedy (Denise) of Winder, GA; one granddaughter, Jessica Motsinger (John) of Athens; two great-grandchildren: Gabriella and Bane Motsinger.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert Sylvester Hunt and Jessie B. Merrill; her husband of 40 years, Richard R. Kennedy; one sister, Louise Camp, and brother, Joe Hunt.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
