Carolyn J. Holland, 71, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Golden, MS and was a school cafeteria worker. Carolyn was a member of Pentecostal Faith Church.
Services will be Friday, October 17, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jimmy Massey officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 11-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Holland; daughter, Cynthia Lentz (Scotty); two aunts, Eva Duncan (Glen) and Faye Terrell (Gerald); uncle, Jimmy Clanton (Lunell) and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Massey and Dorothy Clanton Massey; three aunts, Reva Daily (Alvin), Syble Humphries (Kenneth) and Peggy Clanton and an uncle, Noonan Orick.
Pallbearers will be Don Humphries, Darrell Humphries, Scotty Lentz, Andy Olson, Michael Rogers and Chuck Humphries.
