Funeral services for Carolyn Hipp Lowery, 80, of Cullman, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens, Rev. Ken Allen officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lowery passed away Tuesday, October 29 at her residence. She was born March 21, 1933 to parents William J.T. and Stella Mae Dykes Hipp.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, John H. Lowery: her son, John Eric (Debbie) Lowery; two brothers, Chalmers (Hazel) Hipp and James (Marsha) Hipp; five sisters, Ora Mae Aitken, Catherine (Gerald) Ogburn, Ernestine (Richard) Whitten, Eleanor (Bill) Brasher, and Jane Coshatt; two grandsons, Sam and Will Lowery; sisters-in-law, Flora Dunn, Agnes Hammock, Virginia Lowery, and Bertie Lowery; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 at the funeral home.
