Carolyn Hamm Bostick, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. She was born in Itawamba County, MS and was a beautician for sixty years. Carolyn was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Bay, AL.
Services will be Saturday, July 19, 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Dallas Culver officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one son, Jack Richard “Rick” Bostick (Tonya Plott); one daughter, Jana Bostick Jeter (John); one brother, Billy Hamm (Mary); one sister, Peggy Elliott; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackey Bullen Bostick; her father, Robert Hamm; mother, Rethamae Bostick Hamm and a sister, JoAnn Hamm Seahorn.
Pallbearers will be Chris Seahorn, Beau Elliott, Ethan Elliott, Cody Ring, Jade Pounds and Jake Pounds. Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Pounds, Blake DeVaney and Austin Stidham.
