Carolyn Godsey Pipkins, age 75 of Brilliant, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Northwest Medical Center.
She was born on September 18, 1946 in Jasper, Alabama. Carolyn loved her family and was very devoted to them; she always gave her kids and grandkids 100%. She loved to do things for other people and enjoyed life to the fullest. Carolyn was a hard worker her whole life and enjoyed every minute of it.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00pm. Todd Clippard will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Double Springs, AL.
Carolyn is survived by her sons, Jimmy Woodard, Johnny Woodard, and Jason Woodard; grandchildren, Joshua, Chris, Heather, Taylor, Jake, Tori, and Wesley; and 10 great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzo and Ruby Godsey; siblings, Tafton, Morris, Glen, Bud, Mary, and Jane.
