Funeral service for Carolyn Dianne Ayers, age 69, of Decatur will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Carolyn Dianne Ayers on January 30 , 2025, at the age of 69.
Dianne was born March 1, 1955, in Corinth, MS, to Estelle and J.S. Ayers. She was a loving mother and cherished grandmother who touched the hearts of so many. Her love for her daughter, Christie, son-in-law, Brad, and grandson, Connor, was boundless, and she found joy in every moment spent with them. Dianne found peace and strength in her faith in God. Her personality was filled with light and warmth that made everyone feel special.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Christie Berry (Brad); grandson, Connor Berry; brother Jerry Ayers (Becky), sister, Conchita Peyton; nieces, Danielle and Jeryka Ayers; and nephews, Scotty Peyton and J.J. Ayers. She also leaves behind many other family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Estelle and J.S. Ayers, and brother-in-law, Ray Peyton.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
