Carolyn “Caryl” Studdard Manuel, 71, of Florence, passed away March 3, 2014 at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chris Compton and the Rev. Phil Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Manuel was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond “Jack” Manuel; son, Billy Dwain Manuel; parents, Joel and Mattie Studdard; brothers, Hayden, Jay, Jim, and Howard; sisters, Ruth, Thelma, Margaret, Mary, and Gladys.
She is survived by her son, Eddie L. Manuel (Tina); granddaughter, Carolyn Hughes (Markus); grandson, Robert V. Manuel, III; sisters, Helen Benton, Betty Young; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Markus Hughes, Michael Prince, Buddy Lee Armstrong, Billy Gamble, Don Gray, and Nolan England.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. David Brown and Dr. John Bartmess.
