Graveside service for Carolyn Anne Mathis, age 82, will be on Wednesday March 30,2022 at 11 AM in Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN with Andy Rice officiating. at this time. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday starting at 9 until 10:45 AM in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home .
Ms. Mathis was a former resident of Humboldt, TN , where she was a member of the Church at Sugar Creek and a supervisor for J. Hungerford Smith and later Con Agri in Humboldt, TN for 31 years, passed away on Saturday March 26,2022 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Ms. Mathis was preceded in death by her parents Robert Guy and Ruby Nell (Dungan) Mathis.
Ms. Mathis is survived by: a son John Mathis of Lexington, TN; a brother David Lee and wife Dessa Mathis of Medina, TN; a niece Dicki Bynum of Greenville, SC; a nephew Scott Mathis of Medina; a cousin Pat Darety of Jacksonville, Fl ; and two grandchildren Zach Smith of FL and Brittany Burke of Mufreesboro, TN.
