A celebration of Life for Carolyn Ann Poole, age 83 of Lineville, will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Barfield Baptist Church.
Ms. Poole passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born in Clay County, graduated from Lineville High School, she was a former resident of Pell City, Mobile, and also lived in Childersburg for several years and worked for the Ethanol Corporation in Birmingham as their Secretary before returning to Clay County in the late 80’s where she served as the Assistant Director for EMA for many years. She was an avid reader, and truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Poole is survived by her son, Charles Joel Poole (Amy) of Guntersville; her three grandchildren: Carson Poole of Arab, Caleigh Estes (Caleb) of Guntersville, and Chelsea Young (Kyle) of Arab.; her four great-grandchildren, Camdyn Young, Landon Young, Cate Estes, and Cole Estes; one brother, Bill Ingram (Nancy) of Guntersville; one nephew: Bill Ingram; five nieces: Suzanne Morris, Cyndi Walker, Melanie Kirklin, Amy Ingram, and Amber Petcher, and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester A. Ingram and Louise Whatley Ingram; her husband, Mr. Charles L. Poole; and one sister and brother in law, Sue Walker (Clyde).
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Barfield Baptist Church from 2:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M.
