ChristineMrs. Caroline Virginia Wojciechowski, age 85, passed away at her home in Columbia, Tennessee surrounded by her family.

Caroline was born on February 7, 1928 to the late Oscar and Lulamae Cornwell Evenson in Jump River, Wisconsin. On July 4, 1970 she married Leapold Wojciechowski and they were together until he passed away on January 26, 1983.

She worked as head cook for the hospital in Woodstock, Illinois. She was a communicant of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana, Wisconsin. One of her favorite fun things to do was to listen to Ed and Connie (her daughter and son-in-law) sing while her son Terry played the guitar. She would listen for hours as they played her numerous requests. She also enjoyed spending time at the Maury County Senior Citizens’ Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Mrs. Wojciechowski is survived by her children: Earleen (Doug) Odenbreit of Sahuarita, AZ, Terence (Nancy) Robertsen of Chuckey, TN, Connie (Edward) Etten of Columbia, TN, Sonia (Gene) Perkins of Belvidere, IL, and Deon Wojciechowski of Harvard, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Willis Evenson, Hilda Saunders, Lea Rae Virrisco; and sons: Robert Robertson and Ronald Robertson.

The family would like to give special thanks to her Friends at the Maury County Senior Citizens Center, especially for Miss Shirley and Miss Jean of the Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wojciechowski will be conducted at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home in Harvard, Illinois with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Her daughter Connie Etten will officiate the service. Service times and dates will be announced later.
