Sellers was a woman of strong faith. She valued her Sunday School friends at
Maytown Baptist Church near Pleasant Grove, Alabama and, later, at Corinth
Baptist Church near Arab. She worked in real estate and tour planning and in her
later years has enjoyed playing piano, painting landscapes in oil, and working with
her husband Elvin to grow beautiful flowers in their yard. She took on the task of
monitoring dangerous weather in the whole Southeast—Texas to Georgia and
north to Arkansas—so she could warn any family members if storms were
imminent. She was vigilant in her weather forecasts and constant in her love of
family.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation time on Monday morning from
10:00 a.m. to 11:30 at Cullman Funeral Home, 461 US-278 Hwy East, Cullman,Alabama, 35055.
