carol-rodenberry-1477753951Carol Sue Rodenberry, 67 of Union Grove, Alabama, died Friday October 28, 2016 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.
Ms. Rodenberry was born January 24, 1949 in Cullman County, Alabama to Deecie H. Talley and Earline Cornett Talley. She worked for Morgan City Drugs as a Pharmacy Tech until her retirement. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Jack’s was her favorite place to eat gravy and biscuits and drink decaf coffee.
Ms. Rodenberry was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: James Brady and Lisa Rodenberry, Charles Odren and Amy Rodenberry and Joseph and Kiley Rodenberry; her daughter and son-in-law Mary Sue and Matthew Pylant; grandchildren: Colby Rodenberry, Erica Rodenberry, Andrew Rodenberry, Landon Rodenberry, Luke Morrow, Levi Morrow, Hannah Rodenberry and Easton Rodenberry; great grandchild: Ariana Elkins; brothers: Charles Talley, Jerry Talley, Harlin Talley, Dennis Talley and Max Talley; a sister: Donna Blakely and one half sister Dean Knowles. She was preceded in death by a brother Sherrill Talley.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 30, 2016 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Brother: Mike King, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan City, with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Brady Rodenberry, Odren Rodenberry, Joseph Rodenberry, Colby Rodenberry, Andrew Rodenberry, Landon Rodenberry, Luke Morrow and Levi Morrow.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Easton Rodenberry.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel prior to the service.
