Carol Schuman (December 16, 1936 – April 8, 2013) of Henagar, AL passed away on Monday April 8, 2013. She was a devoted wife and mother and very involved in activities associated with the Catholic Church and a long time member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Carol is survived by 2 sons Brian and Kevin Zelch, 2 step-sons Thomas and Patrick Schuman, 2 daughters Shannon McCullah and Christina Hughes, 1 step-daughter Karin Schuman-Alfonso, 3 brothers Ralph, Steven and Robert Thomas, 1 sister Judy Reynolds, 5 grandchildren and 4 step–grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her brother Donald Thomas.
A Rosary will be held on Monday April 15, 2013 at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville. The burial will follow at the Hampton Cove Cemetery.
