Carol Reason passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 in her grandson’s residence in Decatur, Alabama. She was born March 12, 1949, in Morgan County, to Elvie Miller and Estelle Marie Lackey Miller Bentley.
Carol was born and raised in Hartselle, Alabama. She attended Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama. She was the daughter of Jack and Estelle Bentley, who owned and operated Bentley’s Restaurant in Decatur, on Highway 31. She was always working, as a Restaurant Manager, and her last known employment was with Barnhill’s Buffet.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include:
One Daughter – Stacy Reason Fischer,
Three Grandchildren – Alex, Rollyn, and Rocky, Jr. Tainatongo, and
Two Brothers – Mark Bentley and Rodger Miller
