Carol P. Jennings, age 88, of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born December 24, 1926 in Birmingham, AL to Arthur Dean Peck and Lila Cavaleri.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lila Peck, her husband Wayne Bodie Jennings and her daughter Elizabeth “Beth” Jennings.
Services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 3:00PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Family members will be officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 1:00PM- 2:45PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by two sons: Larry Jennings (Annette) of Port St. Luci, FL and Phillip Jennings (Candace) of Chesterfield, MO, two daughters: Annette McDole (Jimmy) of Athens, AL and Tina Gunter (Alan) of Summerville, SC and her sister Margaret Ann Greathouse of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was a member of the Methodist Church in Gulf Shores, AL.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Marks, Jim McDole, Michael Gunter, Nicholas Gunter, Mason Ruf and Jimmy McDole.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County 2770 South McKenzie Street, Foley, AL. 36535.
