Carol Jean Porter Crowley, age 77, of Decatur, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her residence. Her family will host a memorial service at a later date. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Crowley was born February 10, 1944, in Evansville, IN, to Robert A. Porter and Ruth Elnor Lesher Porter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Roberta Phillips, one brother-in-law, Lawrence Phillips, and one sister-in-law, Wanda Porter. Mrs. Crowley was employed in accounting for UAH for 25 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Crowley of Decatur; two sons, Bruce Crowley (Jaala) of Decatur, and Brett Crowley of Franklin, TN; three brothers, Robert Porter of Indianapolis, IN, John Porter (Nita) of Newburg, IN, and William Porter of Orlando, FL; one sister, Linda Cato of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
