Carol Jane Smith, 75, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away March 16, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 5, 1945 in Fayetteville, Tennessee to Lee Erskine Maddox and Mildred Mullins Maddox.
Carol was her husband’s best friend. She was always a friend to children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Randal Maddox.
She is survived by her husband, William Charlie Smith of Ardmore, AL; sons, Stanley William Smith (Catherine D. Smith) of Madison, AL and Stephen Wray Smith (Jennifer Smith) of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Sonya Wilbourn (Daryl) of Blanche, TN and Sheila Barnes (Kevin) of Ardmore, Al; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. There will be a Graveside Service at Malone Cemetery, Ardmore, TN on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Alan Hughes and Bro. Rick Shannon officiating.
Due to Covid-19 and The Statewide Mandate Mask will be required to be worn all times when entering the building and while in our facility.
