Carol J. Perdue 78 of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Saturday January 30, 2016. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday February 3. 2016 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 4, 2016 at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Father Michael Adams will officiate.
Carol was a native of Portage, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church and the church’s Women’s Society. Carol was also a member of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxilary.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rita Quigley and sisters Rita Orihel and Jo Ann Kilroy.
Survivors are her husband Thad Perdue; son Buddy Perdue (Kim); daughters Jean Ann Gresham (Ken) and Sue Bailey (Brent); grandchildren Christy Wilcoxson (Jerry Don). Katie Pennington (Matt), Abigail and Madison Bailey; and great-granddaughters Izzy and Ava Pennington and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Benefield, Ricky Jones. Matt Pennington, Clint Reck, Adam Rue, Paul Sella, and Jerry Don Wilcoxson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or a charity of choice.
