Carol Fay (Coleman) Martin, age 81 of Madison passed away Sun., Aug. 27, 2017.
Carol truly loved people. She got her nursing degree in the early 1970’s. As an RN she work at 5th Avenue Hospital, Huntsville Hospital, Humana Hospital, Huntsville Nursing Home and Parkview Village Nursing Home. She started Humana’s Senior Association that grew to over 8000 members. From there she owned a senior travel business that took them all over the country and filled planes that took travelers all over the world.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband Charles Lee Martin; children Sherry Lynn Reheuser (Rich), Charles Keith Martin (Deidra); grandchildren Zachary Gibson Martin (Meagan), Kevin Tod Cooley, Caleb Lee Martin (Heather), Mandie Ann Reheuser; great grandchildren Aiden James Martin, Hadley Mae Martin, Alexis Taddia and Nevaeh Taddia.
Visitation is Tues., Aug. 29, 2017,from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Brother Ernest Hill and Rev. Kevin Moore.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
