Carol B. Morgan, 81, of Huntsville, AL, passed away February 18, 2023. She was born February 26, 1941, to William Claud and Beulah Frances Brown in Atlanta, GA. Carol graduated from Murphy High School in Atlanta in 1959. She married James R. Morgan in 1960.
Carol was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She retired from Boeing in 2006 after many years at the Help Desk. She was an avid bridge player. She had an infectious laugh and her greatest joy was the love of her children and grandchildren. She loved Christmas and spread Christmas cheer year-round with her Christmas socks and generous spirit. She was truly a ray of sunshine.
Carol is survived by her children, Rebecca Morgan (Traci Haydu), Donna Edwards (Steve), and Jim Morgan (Dana); grandchildren, Matthew Edwards, Morgan Edwards, Kristin Wales (Ben), Hunter Morgan, Abigail Morgan; great grandchild, Henry Wales; brother, Douglas Brown (Bobbie); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter, Robin L. Morgan.
Visitation will be from 12:000 noon – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Earl Freeman officiating.
