Carol Ann Peoples, 72, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home.
Ms. Peoples was born on August 24, 1951, to Garland Ratley and Georgia Cross Ratley. She lived in the Hazel Green area all her life and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Kayla Brown, brothers, Ronnie Ratley and Pete Ratley and a nephew Brent Ratley.
Survivors include daughters Lori Congo, Katina Brown and Charlene (James) Peoples; grandchildren, Krista, Anna and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Koleson, Beau, Blaine, Alaina, Anavey, Chavous, Georgia and Southerlyn.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. A chapel service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Duran Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
