Carol Ann Davis Mooney, age 58, of Florence, Alabama, passed away November 6, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. Service will be Thursday, November, 11, 2021, 11:00 am at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Davis; mother, Mildred Davis; brothers, Terry Blevins and Tommy Blevins.
She is survived by her husband of forty years Patrick Mooney. Also surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Shayleen Mooney Oliver; brothers, Lowery Davis, Lloyd Davis (Samantha), Bradley Davis (Kim), John Davis (Lisa); sisters, Brenda Burbank Campbell, Charlotte Thompson; grandchildren, Caley Maureen Mooney, Cayden Brian Oliver, Keagan Michael Alan Oliver; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
For many years, Carol was a substitute teacher for Florence City and Lauderdale County schools. She loved to cook, bake and travel. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and family.
Serving as pallbearers are Cayden Oliver, Lowery Davis, Lloyd Davis, John Davis, Bradley Davis, Tyler Davis. Honorary pallbearers are, Keagan Oliver, Brandon Davis, and Zachriah Campbell.
