Mr. Carmon David Ray departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 79 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days. He was born February 22, 1941 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Lyndsey B. and Emma Nola Graham Ray.
Carmon was a police officer with the Florence Police Department.
He is survived by two sons, David Ray and Tim Ray, a daughter, Suleen Williams, grandchildren, Amber Thompson, Blake Ray, Joey Williams, Crissy Williams, Chelsea Bolen, Hunter Ray, great grandchildren, Hadley Ray, Cooper Poague, Chloe Williams and Hayden Blevins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Prater’s Chapel Cemetery, Clifton, with Ricky Mitchell officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting the family.
