Carlton “Speedy” Brackin, 85, of Town Creek died Tuesday, Sept. 20th at his home.
His funeral will be Friday, Sept 23rd at 2 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. just prior to his funeral. Mr. Brackin was a deacon at Faith Baptist Church of Leighton.
“Speedy” was preceded in death by his parents, George and Berchie Brackin; two brothers, Snophia Brackin and George Brackin Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mildred Faye Brackin; his daughter, Darlene Bradford and her husband Ricky, his son, Victor Brackin and his wife, Mia; five grandchildren, Mandy Farris and husband, Tim, Joseph Bradford and wife, Mollie, Tera Brackin, Tyler Brackin and Jessie Brackin; three great-grandchildren, Bentley Farris, Kinley Bradford and Knox Bradford.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Bradford, Tyler Brackin, Dennis Brackin, Gary Brackin, Devon Brackin, George Brackin Jr., Willard Norton, Tim Farris and Keith Bond
