Carlton L. Powers – Obituary

Mr. Carlton L. Powers, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on March 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie Lee Powers and Walter Powers. Mr. Powers was born and raised in Decatur where he graduated from Lakeside High School. He later entered the United States Air Force where he served his country for over 20 years including tours in both Japan and Vietnam. After retirement from the Air Force, Mr. Powers founded A.B.C. Sealcoating and Stripping which he owned and operated for over 36 years.

He is survived by his son, Carlton J. Powers and granddaughter, Daijonae L. Powers.

Carlton L. Powers will be laid to rest at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevella, on Match 28, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, of please make contributions in his memory to Hospice at Southern Care, inc 2204 Lakeshore Dr. Suite 475 Birmingham, AL 35209.
