Carlton Ellis Pitts, age 76 of Falkville, AL. died Tuesday, March 11, 2025.He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Pitts; father, James Herbert Pitts; brothers: Ricky (Nancy) Pitts, Daniel (Barbara) Pitts, and Hubert (Helen) Pitts; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Pitts.
Carlton is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vicky Pitts; sons: Chris (Shannon) Pitts and Jason Pitts; sister, Darlene (Randy) Pate, brothers: Robert (Verna) Pitts and Jeff (Becky) Pitts; grandchildren: Austin (Savanah) Burwell, Hannah (Dean) Gernon and Andrew Pitts, great grandchildren: Isabelle and Matthew and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Mr. Pitts’ life will be Friday, March 14, 2025, beginning at 4:00 PM. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Burial to follow at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
