Mr. Carlton Bless, age 85, resident of Lewisburg, died on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. Mr. Bless served as Sherriff in Marshall County from 1982-1990.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Lone Oak Cemetery beginning at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh and Hamilton Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. until service time.
Born February 11, 1937, in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of the late Charles C. Bless and Edna Bush. He served his country in the Airforce.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Ann Bless (Michael) Sawyer; son, Frank (Lee Ann) Bless; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, wife, Emmaline Boyd Bless and brother, Frank Scott Bless.
