Cooney Uptain, 72, of Oakman, received her wings and entered her heavenly home on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
At the specific request of Mrs. Uptain, there will be no public viewing or visitation. Graveside services will be at Bethel Cemetery in Oakman, Alabama on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Lee Taylor and Bro. Jamie Lay will officiate.
Mrs. Uptain was preceded in death by her Parents-Carl B. Henson and Gearldean Henson; Son-Paul Dwight Otts; Grandson-Andrew Michael Uptain; Daughter-in-law-Sherrie Uptain; Sister in love-Sue Henson.
Mrs. Uptain is survived by her loving Husband-Leon “Dood” Uptain; Sons-Ray Otts (Pam) and Mark Otts (Barbara); Daughter-Tammy Burrow (Randy); Sons by love-David Uptain (JoAnn), Paul Uptain and Anthony Uptain (Melissa); Grandchildren-Jeremy Uptain (Charli), David Uptain, Kim Jones (Oneal), Winter Gibbs (Kevin), Felecia Wallace (Asa), Brandi McKenzie (Dennis), Miranda Sanford (Ben), Melissa Anderson (Micah), Joshua Otts (Tiffany), Jason Otts, Danielle Uptain and Brooks Otts (Courtney); Brother-Billy R. Henson; Sister-Pat Hallmon (Buddy); Aunts-Billie Faye Taylor and Livvy McClain; 30 Great Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephews.
