Carlene Guthrie Cashman “Big Momma” went to be with the Lord September, 13, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. “Bo” Cashman “Lil’ Daddy”, by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Carlene is survived by her daughter, Carla C. Elgin; brother, W.D. Guthrie; cherished granddaughters, Ashley Bowers (Jason) and Casey White (Robert); and many beloved great-grandchildren. She was a member of Dora First Baptist Church and volunteered at the Mission of Hope. Carlene enjoyed crocheting while watching Braves baseball and she was an excellent cook. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Deepest appreciation is extended to The Magnolia House and Diversicare of Oneonta for the excellent care given during her stay. Funeral Services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, Sunday September 16, 2018. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm. Graveside service in New Horizon Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.
