Carl “Wayne” Groves passed away on July 11, 2020 at age 88. No services are scheduled. Mr. Groves served in the United States Air Force before serving the citizens of Tennessee as a branch manager for state unemployment benefits. He enjoyed racquetball, working in the yard and spending time with the grandkids. Mr. Groves is survived by wife Dolores Andersen Groves, children Bill (Cindy) Neagle, Sandie (Kevin) Hancock, and Carl (Jaynie) Groves Jr., grandchildren Rachel Neagle, Wyatt Neagle, Erik Hancock, Julie Hancock, Alexander (Maria) Groves, Chloe (Matthew) Poole, Elijah Groves, Gretchen Groves, Tessa Groves, and Jonah Groves, great grandchild Waverly Poole, sisters June Edmondson, Ruth Bruhn, and Pearl Boling, and numerous nieces and nephews.
