Carl Medley, 72, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Boyd Woodall. The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bernice Medley; children, Tammy Medley, Karla Lavonda Skinner, Wendy Mitchell (husband, Larry), Kirk Medley (wife, April); grandchildren, Janey Oliver (husband, Mark), Tara Hines (husband, John), Allison Presley (husband, Ray), Katie Medley, Tyler Skinner (wife, Lyndsey), Trevor Mitchell, Adam Mitchell, Grace Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Oliver, Emma Oliver, Anthony Hines (Morgan), Trahe Presley, Sarah Presley, Braden Presley, Algin Presley, Baby Kolten; brothers, Roy Medley, David Medley; sisters, Peggy Britnell, Patsy Green; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Pearlie Medley; in-laws, Mattie & Eunice Batey; son, Carl Medley, Jr.; and several aunts and uncles.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
