Carl Jackson, age 80, Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Carl was a founding member of Gravel Hill Fire Department. He worked for Village Furniture for a long time. The last 30 years he worked as Grounds Keeper and Caretaker for Franklin Memory Gardens. He was Mr. Perfectionist about everything, even down to putting the flowers down just perfect on a grave. He was one of those employees that was very dedicated to his job. Anyone who knew Carl knew he was a good man, and he was a friend to all.
A graveside service will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Shady Grove Cemetery in the Liberty Hill Community. Ric Chambless will speak at the service. Bagpipe music will be provided by Ryan Morrison.
