Carl Evan Manuel, 64 of Joppa, Alabama, the New Harmony Community, died Thursday August 18, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Manuel was born February 9, 1952 in Marshall County to Alva Manuel and Odell Ditto Manuel. He was a commercial truck driver and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His wife, Bonnie Bryant Manuel preceded him in death March 26, 2014.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Adam and Gwen Manuel; an honorary son: Johnny Huddleston; two grandchildren: Justin Manuel and David Manuel and a brother Almus Manuel.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie Bryant Manuel; his parents: Alva and Odell Ditto Manuel.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 20, 2016 at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Brother: Keith Hodges officiating, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Greg Best, Adam McDaniel, Jerry Willis, Jason Bridges, Nick Williams and Kevin Tucker. Honorary Pallbearer, Jeff Ditto.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday August 20, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
