Carl Eugene “Geno” Gladden

Carl Eugene “Geno” Gladden, 58, of Lexington, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 after a three-year battle with cancer. Carl was known to be able to drive anything that had wheels and find a way to steer it. Laffy Taffy lost their biggest customer with his passing.

Visitation for Carl will be Saturday, January 6th at Rogersville Funeral Home from 1-4 p.m. with a memorial service following. Jerry Marlow will be officiating.

Geno was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gladden; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Gladden; mother, Judy Edwards; brother, Marvin Gladden; son, Kyle Gladden; stepsons, Blake Borden and Kody Woods; daughter-in-love, Tonya Jones; nine grandchildren; aunts, Donnie Word and Connie Haraway; uncles, Steve, Ricky and Odie Tucker; numerous cousins; special cousins, Jennifer Clemmons and JD Haraway; and his precious fur baby, Nala.

The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to Lily, Amanda and Kelly from Compassus for their loving care.
