Carl Eugene Garrett, age 50 of Leighton, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at his residence.
Carl was a great dad, grandfather and a friend to many. He loved fishing and cars, always enjoyed his Grizzly Wintergreen, and was always a hard worker.
The visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will be at King Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his son, Franky Wallace; parents, Billy and Mary (Fisher) Garrett; brothers, Thomas, Billy, and Jerry Garrett, and sister, Patricia Ann Lane.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Christy Garrett, his children, Caleb Garrett (Makenna), Johnny Garrett (Madison), Abriana Presley; grandchildren, Frankie Garrett, Kari Hamilton, Wrinley Garrett, Riverlynn Garrett, Rosealynn Garrett, Arrius Parker, Oaklen Parker; brothers, Terry Garrett, James Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews as well as family and friends.
