Others that preceded him in death were his first wife of thirty-four years, Clara McFarland Schoenmann; sisters, Alvina Luttrell, and Edna Kilgore; and brothers, Glenn Schoenmann (POW of Korean War), Charles Schoenmann, Raymond Schoenmann, and Ernest Schoenmann. Carl is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Shirley Manus Schoenmann; devoted daughters, Carla (Stephen) Christenson and Rhonda (Eddie) Coop; step-sons, Tim Hamby and Brian Hamby; grandchildren, Stacey Christenson (Derrick), Joy (Josh) Keppler, Amanda (Hugh) Hanna, and Amber (Kyle) Greene; twelve great-grandchildren, Harper, Preston, Rucker, Brynlee, Cloye, Clarissa, JD, Brandon, Charlie, David, Hunter, Kallista, and Chloe; and great-great-grandchildren, Colson, Brooks, and Maya. Carl served in the United States Air Force and then worked tirelessly as a sheet rock finisher for almost sixty years. He worked until the age of eighty-four when a work-related injury forced him to slow down. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and loved the Lord, his family, and church family with all of his heart. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Watson-North Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Watson-North Chapel with Robert Martin officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens with military honors bestowed. Carl’s family would like to thank the hospice company, Adoration, of Manchester, for the care they provided the final weeks of his life. A special thanks to Carla, Meredith, and Anna. Their kindness and attentiveness will be remembered forever. Watson-North Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 405 Sharp Springs Road, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)-967-2345
