Car Theft, Police Pursuit, Crash Results In Arrest Of Two Juveniles

florence policeFLORENCE-A police chase after an auto was stolen results in crash and arrest of two juveniles.  Here is how the Florence Police describe events:

“Juveniles Charged In Vehicle Theft And Police Pursuit: On November 20, 2014, two juveniles stole a vehicle from English Village on Darby Dr. Approximately an hour after the vehicle was reported stolen, Officer Michael Simmons located and attempted to stop the vehicle. The occupants refused to stop for police and a vehicle pursuit ensued through East Florence and along Cox Creek Pkwy. The pursuit ended with the juveniles crashing the vehicle at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Cox Creek Pkwy. Both juveniles were then taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported in the crash. One juvenile is charged with Theft of Property 1st, Attempting to Elude, and Reckless Endangerment. The second juvenile is just be charged with Theft of Property 1st.”
