Candace “Candy” Farrior moved to Heaven on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016. Candy is survived by her husband, Charles, who loved her more than life, and her son, Wyatt, who says she was the best mom ever. She was also survived by her mother, Eleanor Daniels from Ellisville, Missouri; her brother, Kenneth Daniels (Bonnie) from Wildwood, Missouri; Sadie Farrior, her mother-in law; and her sister-in law, Joan (Greg). She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Daniels. She leaves many cherished relatives in North Carolina, Mississippi, and across the U.S.
A visitation will be held in Decatur on Thursday night at Roselawn Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Asbury UMC in Madison and a memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Candy was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and went to Vicksburg High School. She graduated from Delta State University with an Education degree. She later taught at both Warren Central and Vicksburg High Schools.
Instead of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the MSU Foundation or the Delta State Foundation.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Busby, Steve English, Chris Ray, Mark Koesters, David Glenn, Bill Hudson, Al Brown and Scott Campbell.
