MUSCLE SHOALS – Two promising musicians, blind since birth recently had an opportunity to compare notes with Grammy winner Rick Hall, founder of FAME Studios.
Ahbee Orton and Kassidy Gean attended the inaugural session of “CAMP COURAGE”. Camp Courage, a Helen Keller Experience in association with the University of North Alabama, is an intensive, broad-based three-day program designed for hearing-impaired and visually impaired children between the ages of 7 and 14.
The girls got to hear first hand some of Rick’s insight into the music business… How to know when a lyric is ‘right’… What some of the pitfalls potentially await budding songwriters and musicians… And some tricks of the trade.
Ahbee and Kassidy are dynamic musicians, and they showed Hall some of their talent as they performed their music in the world famous studio.
