Calvin William Harlan, 85, died Saturday, November 7, 2020.  A native of Lawrence County, TN, he retired from Harlan Realty & Auction Company in Columbia, TN.  He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia, TN, a proud member of The Sons of the American Revolution, The Sons of the Confederate Veterans, a former member of the Rotary Club, and a Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus & Evaline Harlan, one sister, Celestine (Jessie) Collier, one brother, Alvis (Barbara) Harlan, & one step-daughter, Sheila (Ron) Long.

Calvin is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Harold) Parker, a sister in love Norma (LeRoy) Thomas, his wife, Barbara Kay Livengood Harlan, his son, Bryan (Lyndee) Harlan, his son Scott (Lisa) Harlan, a step-daughter Beverly (Randy) Maxwell, a step-son Micky (Angie) Meigs.  Grandchildren are as listed: Jason (Michelle) Harlan & their children, Zoe, Evie, & Xander, Michael Allen Harlan, Sarah Harlan, Michael (Emily) Maxwell & their son John Beckett, Taylor Maxwell, Caleb Meigs, Benjamin Meigs, Lyndsee Bell, and Joey Brakefield.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A private graveside service and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family requests any memorials go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia Tn’s Press On Fund.
