Mr. Calvin Wayne Moore, age 67, of Empire passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Calvin was loved by his grandchildren very much. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Moncrief Cemetery in Gardendale. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ethelene Moore; wife, Cynthia Brakefield; and sisters, Dorothy Bagwell and Donna Trammell.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Moore (Jessica) and Jackson Moore; grandsons, Triston Moore and Conner Moore; granddaughters, Jaden Moore, Helen Diehm and Arya Diehm; and a host of other relatives and friends.
