Calvin Stanley “C.S.” Elkins, “The Bicycle Man”, age 85 of Leighton, died Thursday, April 9, 2015.
Visitation will be Saturday, 1-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Andre R. McGhaee officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.

Mr. Elkins served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired metal operator from Reynolds, was a member of Leighton Baptist Church and served as Councilman for the Town of Leighton, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Elkins; brothers, Alton and Buddy Elkins; sisters, Elise Bond, Louise Myhan; sons-in-law, Ricky Aday, Shayne McClure and Randy Taylor.

Survivors include his son, Chris Elkins (TI); daughters, Cathy Elkins (Barry), Cindy McClure; grandchildren, Chelsey Fouche’ (Grayson), Casey Elkins, Nick Lenz and Alyssa Pilkinton and one great-grandson on the way, Tripp Fouche’.

Pallbearers are Brandon Hood, John Landers, Bennie Letsinger, B. J. Wallace, Nic Wallace, Chris Letsinger and Willie Joe Lewis.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Town of Leighton.
